Research Strengths

Cell and tissue biology is one of the most exciting and important areas of biomedical research.

Most cells function within tissues, with the breakdown of tissue function the basis of ageing and diseases such as cancer, inflammation, neuro-degeneration and pathogen infection. We foster collaborative multidisciplinary research and cutting-edge technology to promote imaginative and innovative discoveries in tissue biology. Learn about our research groupsÌýhere.
