Infrastructure provides services we all rely upon for our day-to-day lives. This lecture explains why the geography of infrastructure investment in the UK is spatially skewed towards its capital city-region. It reveals that infrastructure fixes for London risk undermining national ‘levelling-up’, leaving places in the rest of the UK struggling to invest for their future prosperity.
The lecture will be followed by a drinks reception in the South Cloisters.
