Research
The Bartlett School of Planning is a world-leading centre for research, impact and innovation. We shape intellectual debates in the fields of urban planning, urban design, and real estate and champion cutting-edge thinking and practice.
Our research is motivated by an ambitious intellectual mission to tackle some of the most significantÌýchallenges faced by contemporary societies.ÌýThis includes housing crises, urban and community regeneration, transport and active travel, sustainability and resilience, health and wellbeing, circularity and climate change.
We actively support the design, production and governance of equitable, inclusive and liveable environments. We lead and collaborate on projects and initiatives across universities, faculties and departments in partnership with governmental and civil society organisations, across the globe. While our reach is international and truly interdisciplinary, we are also at the forefront of re-thinking the future of London, ourÌýresearch laboratory.
