Make a positive impact: help audit 911±¬ÁÏÍø's environmental accreditation

UCL Sustainability is recruiting students to audit Green UCL: UCL's environmental impact programme that encourages departments to improve their environmental impact.

Student volunteers are needed to help audit Green Impact: UCL's environmental accreditation programme

As a part of taking part in Green UCL: UCL's environmental impact programme, studentsÌýwill receiveÌýInstitute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) approved environmental auditor training.

The process will also help you to gainÌýskills and experience associated with auditing and sustainability, as well as, enhance your CV and gain valuable employability skills.

Making a positive impact

Environmental auditing is an essential way to monitor UCL'sÌýsustainability performance and identify how it can be improved. It's a vital first step in making buildings, operations and behaviours more sustainable.Ìý

This is a great opportunity to boost your sustainability literacy and learn how departments are improving their environmental impacts. Participants will also receive a certificate, recognising them as a Green UCL auditor.Ìý

The training will take place on Thursday 31 May, fromÌý9.30am to 4pm. During the morning you will spend the morning in a training session. After a free lunch, you will then visit several departments that have taken part in UCL'sÌýGreen Impact programme, using your skills to audit their efforts.Ìý

These audits are an essential part of the programme, pleaseÌýonly book a space if you can attend for the full day and inÌýorder to take part you must bring along your UCL card. Lastly, the location of the training will be sent to you nearer the time of the event.Ìý
