This is an announcement for a UCL UCU Extraordinary General Meeting which will take place on Thursday 27 February, 1-2pm, in the Archaeology LT, Gordon Square.Ìý°Õ³ó±ð .

This meeting is timetabled to permit members to raise motions and stand as delegates for the national annual delegate conference of the .

In addition, this meeting will be an opportunity to discuss issues of local and national concern including the progress of our USS and ‘four fights’ campaigns.

Congress reviews the UCU's campaigning work over the preceding year and debates campaigning priorities and policy for the coming year.

Members should also consider putting themselves forward as delegates, which will be in Bournemouth from 27-29 May. UCL UCU is entitled to submit 1 motion to Congress and 2 motions to Higher Education Sector Conference. Motions must be 150 words or less.

A final category of motion, termed 'rules change' motions, are proposals to change the rules of the national union. As these tend to be technical in nature any proposal certainly should be discussed with UCL UCU Branch Officers prior to circulation. Please email .
