To celebrate 4 years since its formation, the group has created a video showcasing some of MSD's 'magical' techniques and devices. These include the use of acoustic levitation using ultrasound (0:05-0:47), a smell-dispensing device for smell training (0:48-0:52), bubble formation on water using acoustic focusing (1:13-1:19), acoustic imaging on thermochromic material (1:20-1:40), the use of haptic devices to stimulate touch sensations (1:41-1:51), acoustic levitation with image mapping projection (1:52-2:07) and a reconfigurable parabolic sound mirror (2:12-2:27).
