Job description

In this role, you will assist the ENGF0029 module lead in leading and facilitating one 2-hour weekly departmental mathematics workshop throughout Terms 1 and 2. The workshops start in week 2 of Term 1 and each workshop group consists of up to 20 students. During these 2-hour workshops, you will discuss a problem set including demonstrating solutions on the whiteboard and help facilitate small-group discussions to answer a set of questions.Ìý

In this role, you will also be required to assist in marking and giving individual and group feedback to student weekly formative assignments and coursework throughout the year.

This role involves facilitating the learning of students with diverse backgrounds in mathematics.

  • Excellent knowledge of calculus and basic probability and statistics. Essential
