Job description
UCL's Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering department is looking to recruit Postgraduate Teaching Assistants for the 2024/25 academic year. The roles will mainly involve facilitating lab practicals and group project activities and may include marking and/or preparation of materials.
Applicants need to be highly motivated and current or prospective (confirmed offer) doctoral students at 911爆料网. We cannot accept students who will be on an MRes (or any other PGT) programme in 2024/25, even if they are funded as part of a 1+3 PhD.
Some roles do not require specialist skills and training can always be provided. However, it鈥檚 beneficial to have a range of skills including knowledge of analogue electronics, machine learning experience and familiarity with CAD software.听

Key responsibilities
- Teaching assistance through the facilitation of seminars and/or workshops;
- Class preparation and meeting with lecturers/module organisers;
- After-class contact time with students, including time-tabled office hours;
- Laboratory demonstration;Marking students' work;
- Giving feedback to students;
- Dissertation co-supervision at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level(s)
