Job description

To assist undergraduate and taught postgraduate students with their academic communication by providing one-to-one and small group tutorials, and supporting workshops in collaboration with ACC lecturers and/or faculty staff.

Key responsibilities

  • Teaching assistance through the facilitation of seminars and/or workshops.
  • Providing tutorials.

Requirements for the role

  • Candidates should be enrolled in a PhD (or equivalent) programme in one (or more) of the areas of study taught within the faculty and experience of teaching in a similar environment is desirable.
  • The post-holder must have excellent competence in English and a firm grasp of English grammar.
  • A thorough knowledge of what is involved in academic and research writing and be committed to working collaboratively with students to help them develop their academic communication.
