Job description
The purpose of this job is to support teaching and learning in four new modules working with the module lead. The modules are part of European and International Social and Political Studies’s undergraduate programmes.
Indicative duties of the post are seminar teaching, seminar teaching support, regular meetings with the module lead, co-ordination of presentation feedback to students, attendance reporting, support with module assessment.

Key responsibilities
- Teaching assistance through the facilitation of seminars and/or workshops;
- Class preparation and meeting with lecturers/module organisers;
- After-class contact time with students, including time-tabled office hours;
- Marking students' work;
- Giving feedback to students;
- Helping organise student presentations and feedback;
- ÌýField trip planning/organisation
Requirements for role
- Educated to the Master degree level in at least two of the relevant fields of the modules being taught (Politics, Area Studies: Middle East/Global South, Racial Capitalism, Political Economy, Critical Race Theory, Environmental Studies).Ìý
- A current PhD student in a relevant discipline
- Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing, with students
