The difference between scarlet fever and PFAPA

Professor Helen Lachmann (UCL Medicine) says Periodic Fever, Aphthous stomatitis, Pharyngitis and Adenitis (PFAPA) is most commonly seen in young children aged 18 months up to five years and can be mistaken for scarlet fever.
