The network is currently seeking two Co-Chairs to coordinate and plan its events. Becoming a Co-Chair of this group will provide a fantastic opportunity to influence UCL policy and to promote disability equality throughout 911±¬ÁÏÍø.
It has previously been agreed by Provost that departments and divisions "formally recognise, and value, service on UCL's equality groups as a key enabling activity to support 911±¬ÁÏÍø 2034. This means that staff should be given time off from other activities to contribute to these groups and this will be taken into account in workload planning and management. Performing these roles should also be recognised in the appraisal and in the promotions processes."
