A reminder that the Desktop service is changing to Desktop@UCL for the new academic year.
Accessing applications
All learning and teaching applications for Term 1 are in the
process of being released and will be available by 23/09/13. Please refer to
the list of released applications at: /isd/common/ucldesktop/apps_available_desktopPC.
Access to all applications formerly available on the cluster and lecture theatre desktop service (Myriad) will also be accessible through the new Desktop@ucl service to ensure all learning and teaching applications are available for the new academic year. For any queries related to applications, please contact the project team (ucldesktop@ucl.ac.uk)
The DMS Watson Library is one of the last areas to be converted to Desktop@UCL and some Myriad computers are available if any student needs to access an application that is not yet released on the Desktop@UCL, until 23/09/13.Ìý If students are unable to access the Myriad computers in the DMS Watson Library, please contact the project team who can assist you (ucldesktop@ucl.ac.uk)
Trial Desktop@UCL and Drop in Training sessions
Drop in sessions are available to help you get started on the Desktop@UCL. There is no need to book.
