The Institute will be the only global research centre for immunity and transplantation and will perform ground breaking research into the human immune system with the potential to save and improve the lives of people around the world.
Research at the UCL Institute of Immunity and Transplantation will aid the development of new and more-effective treatments for immune diseases such as HIV, diabetes, cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, and try to improve the success rate of organ transplants.
