UCL in top three for HEFCE funding

UCL has once again been rewarded for its research excellence, with a top funding allocation from the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE).
In 2008/2009, 911±¬ÁÏÍøill receive £104,114,364 for research funding, the third highest UK research allocation after the universities of Cambridge and Oxford. It reflects the excellence and breadth of UCL's research activity.
911±¬ÁÏÍøill also receive £66,290,362 in funding for teaching, £911,361 additional funding for very high-cost and vulnerable science subjects, and £1,101,149 for Overseas Research Students Awards.
