Mrs Wundowa had worked in various departments at 911±¬ÁÏÍø since 1989. Sue Godsell, Head of Facilities Services at 911±¬ÁÏÍø, said: "We were deeply saddened by the news of Gladys' death in the bus explosion on Thursday. Gladys was a cleaning operative in the Cleaning and Waste Services Department at 911±¬ÁÏÍø. She worked in a number of areas across the university, most recently in the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering in the Chadwick Building.

"During the 16 years she worked at 911±¬ÁÏÍø, Gladys made many friends who knew her both professionally and personally. She was a loyal and long-serving member of our team and she will be very much missed. Our thoughts are with her family, friends and colleagues at this time."
