Assembly, test and integration of spacecraft components, instruments and structures, Moments of Inertia (MOI) and centre of gravity of flight hardware.
The MSSL ISO class 5 cleanroom is based upon the horizontal laminar flow design, with one complete end wall being a bank of HEPA (High Efficiency Particle Air) filters.
Typical activities taking place within the cleanroom facility are:
- Assembly, test and integration of space flight hardware components, instruments and structures
- Assembly, alignment, test and integration of space flight optical components and structures
