Description
This module will provide transferable research skills, set in the context of recent developments in the Financial Economics academic literature. It will consist of two parts. Part A will relate recent developments in Financial Intermediation and Regulation, and advances in Asset Pricing and Corporate Finance, to the existing literature and especially to seminal contributions to the field. Part B will be linked to UCL Finance Seminars (joint between the School of Management and the Department of Economics), where world leading experts come to present their current research (e.g., in 2018-2019, speakers came from institutions such as Yale, Berkeley, Chicago and Columbia, and included Nobel laureates).
