Description

This module presents the frameworks and concepts of corporate governance, emphasising the relationships with strategic management of complex organisations. It explores the relationship between risk management, governance, and assurance processes across organisational and
institutional boundaries. Beyond the understanding and empowerment of the actors involved in major project delivery, the module will introduce frameworks of assurance to emphasise the alignment between the decision-making processes and different levels of control. The module has an emphasis on the design and redesign of governance structures throughout the project life cycle.

Aims of the module

The module aims to provide an understanding of the myriad of stakeholders involved in major programmes and the design of governance structures to delegate authority to enable the decisions of several actors.
