Description

This module will provide you with the necessary knowledge for the management of pain from both the patient's and the clinician's perspective. The focus will be on self-management strategies rather than pain reduction or medical and other passive interventions. The module aims to develop your critical understanding of models used in pain management, the role of different professions, and the strategies that are helpful for patients living with pain. You will also consider the wider social impact.
