- Serbian/Croatian A (SEEY0017)
- Serbian/ Croatian B (SEEY0020)
This module aims to enable students to function in most everyday situations in Serbian/Croatian and to appreciate the complexity of Serbian/Croatian culture and society. This includes sound knowledge of vocabulary (approximately 2200-2500 words), grammar, morphology (e.g. verbs in the present, past and future tense, verbal aspect, cases, derivation, etc.), syntax (word order in complex sentences), and phonetics (improving pronunciation and intonation). The module follows up and consolidates knowledge of Serbian/Croatian gained on the Serbian/Croatian B off-track module, and completes the Serbian/Croatian off-track (A, B, and C) module.
