Over the past century, the territory we identify as Russia has undergone profound transformations – geographical, political, and social. Through these changes, Russia has remained deeply embedded in world affairs. This module will introduce students to Russia in a global context, not only as enemy or partner of the West but also as shaper of the world in which we live.
