Description

The aim of this module is to introduce the concepts of Quality, Safety and Leadership and arm you with the skills to start improvement programmes in your own environments.

After taking this module, you would be expected to:

· Understand why quality improvement matters in healthcare

· Understand the origins of quality improvement methodology with examples

· Describe common methods employed in healthcare improvement

· Identify and define the aims of a quality improvement project

· Describe and interpret graphical data used in quality improvement

Design and start to test a quality improvement intervention to achieve your stated aims
