Restrictions
Priority will be given to students enrolled on the MA Special and Inclusive Education. Students wishing to take this module should have prior knowledge of the needs of SEND children or experience of working in primary or secondary school settings. If you wish to take this module and are not enrolled on the MA Special and Inclusive Education or have no previous knowledge/experience of working in primary or secondary school settings, and/or those with SEND, you will be expected to have completed the additional activities and readings provided before each session.

Description

The module aims to introduce and explore the relevance of psychological perspectives to special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) in terms of how they are used to understand the nature of special and inclusive educational needs and how they influence ideas about interventions and best practice in the classroom.
