Description

Students continue to work individually to develop a proposal so that it is an integrated design for their site. The design proposal will embody the observations made in the initial design study in Term 1. Students are asked to experiment with different approaches to design and representation and develop an ambitious and critical approach towards the conceptual, functional and programmatic dimensions of the project. Students will develop and resolve an inventive complex weather and watertight architectural proposition which responds to site, content and brief and critically examines the projects urban and social content. The design will incorporate an appropriate understanding of structural and environmental design principles, including fire safety and environmental control requirements.
