Description
The module is designed to give ophthalmic practitioners (optometrists, orthoptists and ophthalmic nurses) and introduction to the principles of Advanced Practice. In addition to specialist clinical knowledge gained from modules on this programme, Advanced Practice involves acquiring the knowledge and skills to understand the application of general medicine in the ophthalmic setting, management in a clinical setting, education, training, supervision and life-long learning, professionalism, clinical governance, communication the holistic management of the patient This module will cover::
