The module aims to introduce students to several different ways of thinking about childhood difficulties. The varied theoretical perspectives covered are systemic, cognitive behavioural, neurobiological, epigenetic, psychodynamic, mentalisation, attachment, global and multi-cultural and psychiatric. Each week a different speaker will present on their area of expertise.
