Description

This module aims to develop a range of language skills in Russian at upper intermediate level, primarily for the purposes of academic research and use in professional life. Students will gain fluency in reading research and media materials, and gain communication skills in speaking and understanding Russian in a working environment. By the end of the module students will be well equipped to read written materials for research purposes, but also to talk and write about their research interests/topic. Students will develop more general competence across a range of productive and receptive skills. Entry to the module will be determined by a compulsory written entry test, conducted during Induction Week.
