This module deals with educational improvement and the ways in which different forms of leadership can contribute towards the development and enhancement of student learning through staff development and institutional growth. Its focus is on the responsibilities that senior staff have for ensuring that the organisation’s human resources are effectively managed, led and developed. ÌýIssues studied include staff recruitment and selection, induction, professional development, mentoring and coaching, wellbeing and improving performance within the workplace.
