Description

This is a 15 credit course that provides an introduction to the interaction processes that underpin the physics of ionising radiation as well as the methods that are typically used to quantify and measure it in the laboratory setting or clinical environment. The course also gives an introduction to the statistical methods used to assess its significance in research work and clinical practice.
