The course aims to equip students with an understanding of the main issues in innovation management, an awareness of the key features of success and an appreciation of the relevant skills needed to manage innovation. Through lectures and workshops, students will learn how opportunities for innovation arise, the right managerial strategy to innovate successfully and the best way to manage innovations. Students are to learn how to apply conceptual frameworks and theories related to the management of innovation, exploring contemporary cases of innovation and developing awareness of relevant means to move organisations forward through innovation management.
