Description

Students will examine the current understanding of how vision develops and the impact of visual loss or impairment. This is in order to understand the possible access needs of learners who are visually impaired. The module focuses on laying a firm foundation for the development of habilitation work with children and young people in educational settings specifically, including those where an extended / additional curriculum affords support for habilitation work.
