This module is open to second year students on BSc Anthropology, BSc Anthropology with a Year Abroad, BA Archaeology and Anthropology, and BSc Human Sciences and to second and third year students on the MSci Human Sciences only. This module must be taken together with ANTH0050, ANTH0052, ANTH0053. For Anthropology students, it must be taken in Term 2 and will replace ANTH0015 Being Human.

Earth & Life Through TimeÌý
Human EvolutionÌý
Prehistoric Archaeology of AfricaÌý
Immersion in Kenyan CultureÌý
Of those six, the best four grades are used for credits (15 credits each).Ìý
The Field School will be conducted at the Turkana Basin Institute (TBI) in Northern Kenya. A detailed description of the current curriculum is available through the TBI website (Please note, however, that specifics of the curriculum may change depending on circumstances.ÌýÌý
Additional costs: In addition to return airfare to Nairobi, there is a field school fee to participate (approx £6,293.75, for all four modules). Please note that the fee listed is accurate as of going to print and may be subject to change as it depends on TBI fees and currency fluctuations.Ìý
