The module involves the translation of non-literary text from French into English. Broad areas that will be covered:

Academic Writing (articles, monographs, abstracts, 鈥榩itches to publishers鈥�, research projects outlines)

Political Discourse (posters, banners, speeches etc.)

Cultural Journalism (book and film reviews etc.)
