Description
This module seeks to strengthen your knowledge of business, management and organisational principles and practices within the contemporary health sector. 听It emphasises a critical and reflective approach in the consideration of contemporary issues. 听You will have to draw on and reflect upon your own experiences of organisations and share them with peers during group discussions.
The topics will be selected by the MBA Health academic staff on an annual basis. 听Some of the topics that might be included are:
-听听 听Digital Health Transformation and Opportunities in Healthcare
-听听 听Social Determinants of Health
-听听 听The Business of Behavioural Health and Ageing
-听听 听Leading Change in Healthcare
-听听 听AI for Health Solutions
-听听 听Population Health Management
-听听 听Systems Leadership
You will be asked to prioritise your five top topics. 听You will then be assigned three topics across the first three weeks of the module face to face days.
Wrap up week for this module will be more focused on sharing learning and reflection, but as always, it will be led by health professionals who work in the various themed areas that you have been discussing and evaluating over the previous three weeks. 听They will take you through real world case studies that solidify the application of these themes.
