Description

This module aims to introduce a Trainee Surgeon, Clinician and Healthcare Professional to challenges of Burns and Military Injuries.

This modules includes a series of lectures on Burn Surgery (pathophysiology, reconstruction and pre-fabrication of free flaps); Military injury and wound healing and lower and upper limb trauma. Lectures are delivered by consultant Plastic and Military Surgeons with years of experience working in this field.

After taking this module you will be able to understand concepts of burns pathophysiology, reconstruction and pre-fabrication of free flaps, various lower and upper limb trauma injuries and their surgical management.
