Description

Following the Literature Review in term 1, this 30-credit module focuses on an individual exploration that is both theoretical and practical. It runs in parallel to the main design project, giving students the opportunity to specialise and investigate a particular technical aspect that feeds knowledge and experience into the project. Very specific tests will be carried out to help understanding in-depth certain aspects of the design. This can entail the characterisation of materials, evaluation of environmental performances, analysis of growth parameters, multi-physics simulations or design aesthetics, all of which are described and contextualised in the report.
