Description

The anatomy and physiology module will allow you to gain a comprehensive understanding of anatomy and physiology of the eye drawn from scientific knowledge of biomedical, optical and refractive principles. You will learn the fundamental principles of biomedical science which will enable you to determine factors that influence ocular health. You will apply scientific knowledge to gain an in-depth understanding of the aetiology of a range of ophthalmic conditions, which will give you insight into the visual and structural processes in ophthalmic diseases. This knowledge will equip you with a better understanding of the conditions that patients present with, which will enable you to deliver optimum ophthalmic care.
