This module aims to introduce more specialised procedures, such as muco-gingival surgery, advanced endodontics, occlusal splints and the restoration of dental implants, as well as a dedicated module on the contemporary management of tooth surface loss. The Diploma also covers documentations of clinical cases, diagnosis, prevention, occlusal management, diagnostic set-up and evaluation, 'Dahl' techniques, dental biomimetics and many other restorative options. Teaching consists of lectures, seminars, literature reviews and practical hands-on. The highlight of the Diploma is the clinical case portfolio modules, which allow graduates to practice, review and discuss clinical aspects within their own professional environment and to demonstrate competencies of restorative treatment techniques applied within their own clinical practice.
