By encouraging skills in photography, diagnostics and restorative techniques students would develop an enhanced acumen in managing cases considered to be difficult restorative cases, with competence and confidence.
The module develops skills in building worn dentition with a basic and sound application of occlusal considerations, the limitations of dental materials and insight into the aesthetic considerations of restorative dentistry. Assessments include the production of case studies which further develops self-directed learning and confidence.
