Equality, Diversity and Inclusion at the LMCB

The LMCB is committed to equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace. TheAthena SWAN culture is fully embedded in LMCB life; we adopt themantra “simply good practice” to describe ourapproach to all aspects of ourwork. Our efforts have been recognised to have helped develop a culture inwhich allour staff and students flourish, and which increasingly influencesother departments across the university andbeyond. In 2020, we renewed our Athena SWANGold status in recognitionof continuing to work at the highest level of excellence in promoting genderequality. We will continue to makeimprovements to provide an environment that encourages scientific excellencefor many years to come.
