Will of John Higgin merchant of Hackney Middlesex proved 29/07/1826: John Higgin of Londonfield in the parish of Hackney. 'I give to my dear wife Mary Higgin in gratitude for her virtuous deportment and [illeg.] love and attachment to me' the freehold of their house in Londonfield, his 4 shares of £500 each in the Imperial Fire and Life Insurance Office and the 60 shares of £50 in the Atlas Life and Fire Insurance Office, and annuity of £800 per annum secured on estates in Jamaica'. Alludes to his sons Thomas (?) and Isaac, and to George Whiteley. Â
Will of Mary Higgin widow of John Higgin late of London Street...and then of London Field (made in 1835) proved 30/01/1846. In the will she left her entire estate to her daughter Mary Higgin.
