Professor Colm O’Cinneide gives evidence on the human rights implications of Brexit

On 26 October, , Professor of Constitutional and Human Rights Law, gave evidence to the Joint Committee on Human Rights of the UK Parliament on the human rights implications of Brexit.

The session explored a wide range of issues, including the implications of Brexit for migrant rights, anti-discrimination law and labour rights, as well as winder constitutional issues as to the respective roles of parliament and the courts in shaping the future of the UK outside the EU.

Professor O’Cinneide’s oral evidence drew upon the written submission previously submitted to the Joint Committee on the same topic, which was prepared with input from members of UCL Laws: (Professor of Law)Ìý (Professor of EU Law),  (Professor of Law),  (Reader in Human Rights and Labour Law, Co-Director of )Ìý (Senior Lecturer in Law) and Professor Colm O’Cinneide.
