Drupal CMS: Create a new page

Learn to create a new page in Drupal.

Before you start

When editing use Chrome, Firefox or Safari, but NOT Internet Explorer.

Instructions

1. Ensure you are logged in
2. In the top toolbar mouse over Content | Add content | Page
   Ìý

   Tip

   You can alsoÌýclick on the word ContentÌýon the top toolbar and thenÌýclick onÌýÌýAdd content | Page

3. Provide a title Ìý
   This will appear at the top of the page when published and become the navigation link in the menu
4. Add a Content intro / summary
   It will stand out with a different background on the page and provides the user with an overview of what to expect on the page.
   An example can be seen below this page's title.
5. Add the main content
   Ìý

   Tip

   You may want to add some content between existing content. When you find you cannot see your cursor where you want to insert new content, you will see a red dotted line with a white arrow at the end on the right... Click on the arrow and a paragraph break will be inserted automatically, allowing you to insert the extra text.

6. Decide if you want to use a sidebar - if not, take the tick out
7. The Content footer can be used for things like partner logos, contact details etc. and appears at the bottom of the page
8. Save
9. Finally, check you are happy with the result, includingÌýon a mobile device
