What is the Peer Support Scheme?
This is a mentoring scheme designed to support new students through their academic journeys in universityÌýand to settle in the IOE community.
By joining this scheme, you will receive 1-1 support on the different challenges you may face being a new student at 911±¬ÁÏÍø. You will be pairedÌýwith a peer supporter who will meet with you to discussÌýany academic, career, or personal concerns.
Your supporterÌýwill be an IOE alumnusÌýor senior student who have walked the walk themselves, and can give you the best insight on how to approach these difficulties.ÌýWe provided them with training and resources, so that you receive the support you deserve.
We understand youÌýmay feel uncomfortable going to programme staffÌýfor help. Connected with the Peer Support Team, you can always turn to a friendly face as your first point of contact.

How to join
The Peer Support Scheme is open to new students studying at the IOE, includingÌýpostgraduate, ITE and research students.ÌýYou will have the option of meeting your peer supporter face-to-face or online.
