Regional networks, led by Regional PVPs, are key in bringing together academics from across the university to build international capacity and skills
The fifth objective of theÌýGES was to develop international skills by fostering an enhanced culture of global engagement and collaboration across UCL. To do this, the Global Engagement Office set out toÌýbringÌýtogether colleagues with a shared interest in global partnerships in particular regions: Africa & Middle East, East Asia, Europe, South Asia, South East Asia and Australasia, North America and Latin America.
GEO helped establish an academic network of Regional Pro-Vice-Provosts who each lead one of the sevenÌýregional networks, engaging more than 1,000 members from across UCL. Members receive regional news, opportunities and funding calls and meet regularly. The Africa & Middle East network is the largest regional network in 911±¬ÁÏÍøith more than 500 members.ÌýFind out more about the regional networks here.
