Referencing Guidelines

Researchers accessing data from the WHO TB-IPD platform are required to acknowledge the source appropriately. When publishing research findings that utilize data from the TB-IPD platform, please include citations for the TB-IPD editorial availableÌý, the TB-IPD platform's webpage atÌýTB-IPD platform|UCL-University College London, and the relevant publications from our data contributors. A comprehensive list of these contributions will be provided to data analysts in the form of a spreadsheet to ensure all sources are accurately credited.ÌýÌýÌý

We provide two options for standard acknowledgment paragraphs, depending on the allowable word count:

Full option:

This work uses data obtained through the WHO TB Treatment Individual Patient Data Platform (TB-IPD), a collaborative initiative to support the generation of reliable evidence on the treatment of TB to inform future TB treatment guidelines. It is supported by the WHO Global TB Programme and maintained by UCL. The current TB-IPD includes previous work collected at McGill University, as published in and , and at Sydney University. We acknowledge the contributors and their individual patients for their invaluable contributions.

Short Option:

This work uses data obtained through the WHO TB treatment individual patient data platform (TB-IPD), a collaborative initiative led by the World Health Organization (WHO), Global TB Programme and University College London (UCL).
