UCL Economics will host its sixth annual undergraduate research conference Explore Econ, on Wednesday 26 February 2020. This high profile event will be opened by Professor Anthony Smith (Vice Provost, Education & Student Affairs).ÌýProfessor Sasha Roseneil (UCL) will present the awards ceremony. The popular #whateconomistsreallydo session is back this year, starting at 5.30pm with a theme of "Using (and Abusing) Data in Economics" and features staff and student speakers.
The conference showcases independent work undertaken by students from all years of the undergraduate programme, much of it outside of the curriculum. This will be presented in posters and presentations and in addition, the conference will also showcaseÌýthe winning contributions of our First Year Challenge, a multimedia film project.
