Where can I find support?
  • Rare Dementia Support (RDS) offers specialist social, emotional and practical support services for individuals living with, or affected by, a rare dementia diagnosis. Our vision is for all individuals with, at risk of or supporting someone with one of these forms of dementia to have access to information, tailored support and guidance, and contact with others affected by similar conditions.ÌýFor more information about RDS services, news and information, and the dementia diagnoses we currently support, please visit the .
  • Ìýis a charity that provides support from specialist nurses, known as Admiral Nurses, for families affected byÌýdementia.ÌýThis includes free advice, support and understanding to help families care for their loved one.Ìý
  • Patients who have been referred to the UCLH Cognitive Disorders Clinic have access to the Counselling and Diagnosis in Dementia (CANDID) service.ÌýCANDID is a nurse-led information and advice service offering advice on how to access information on legal and financial matters, and the role of statutory and voluntary support services.
