International students
ATAS (Academic Technology Approval Scheme)Â Certificate
Certain international students may be required to apply for an ATAS certificate, issued by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO). It grants you security clearance to study specific postgraduate programmes at 911±¬ÁÏÍø.
To apply for an ATAS certificate, you must have received an offer to study at 911±¬ÁÏÍø, and you do not need to wait for it to be unconditional.

CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies) Number
Once you have received your unconditional offer, 911±¬ÁÏÍøill provide you with a unique 14-digit reference known as a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) number.Ìý
